We’re pleased to announce that students may create NBME study schedules on Cram Fighter! The NBME allows students to prepare for the USMLE Step 1 by taking a self-assessment with the same content and structure. Until now, the ability to schedule NBME study schedules in Cram Fighter was one of our most requested features from our customers. We listened, and now it’s available for you to plan for.

You can now schedule a required NBME for the completion of M2

If your school requires you take an NBME exam, you may add this exam to Cram Fighter and make a plan to crush it. Organizing your NBME study resources is especially important for students who will be graded on their NBME performance. You can choose from our hundreds of supported boards resources to prepare for your school’s NBME. Since Cram Fighter allows you to schedule both boards tasks and course tasks, you can see what’s on your plate at the end of M2, all in one place.

You now have two options for scheduling practice tests

Students now have more choices when they schedule practice tests in Cram Fighter. First, you may choose to create a practice test on the Catch-up days and unscheduled days page. Cram Fighter will ensure no boards tasks are scheduled on the day you choose, giving you time to complete a self-assessment at some point in your study plan. When you check off a practice test task, you can record your score, and track your improvement on the Progress tab.

Second, you may create an NBME study plan by clicking Add standardized exam on the Edit Schedule page. Choose either the NBME - Basic Science (to study with Step 1 resources) or the NBME - Clinical Science (to study with Step 2 CK resources).

NBME

Cram Fighter will ask what resources you plan to use and assign enough tasks to complete those resources before it’s time to take your NBME. This new option is best for students who want to make a detailed plan in advance of their self-assessment or school-required test. This option also allows students to track their NBME study stats separately from their USMLE Step 1 preparation.

As always, Cram Fighter allows students to create study plans for multiple exams with just one subscription. To see for yourself how Cram Fighter produces an NBME study plan, sign up for a 7-day free trial at https://cramfighter.com.
